License exposed at runtime

Robin

I have purchased a license to use DBPix 2.0 and installed the License number,
I deleted all of the sample/test controls and re-created them after the
license number was installed. Per the instructions on the website. I
include the .ocx file in the installation as self-registering. My Access
2007 program written on Vista Ultimate machine, with Wise InstallBuilder 8.14
and Sagekey Scripts, installs properly but the DBPix controls revert back to
Evaluation Copy on the target machines.

The license can be entered and the Evaluation Copy overlay goes away but the
license number and DBPix information is not supposed to be available at
runtime. Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong in general
sense?

I am asking this question here because the last 4 of my e-mails to support
during the last week have gone unanswered. And I'm beginning to believe I'm
on my own at this point.

The last response from DBPIX suggested that I created the controls before
entering the license number. So I went back and deleted all of the controls
again and recreated them. DBPix has indicated the once the license is
installed it is contained in the control at creation. I'm supposed to be
able to remove the license number from the development machine and the
controls will retain the license as a test. It does not.

Thank you,
Robin

Thank you for your response. I hope my point came across as "I'm" missing
something that I'm sure is simple to someone else who has used third party
controls.

Thank you,

I have been put back in touch with the folks at DBPix and they are helping
guide me through my difficulties. There was an apparent loss in some of the
e-mail communications, I mean we're only practically on the opposite side of
the earth.

Thank you,
Robin

Although this is the first time I've used the control, I have also sung it's
praises. It truly allows me as a psuedo beginner to do some pretty amazing
things by simply adding this item to the list of features I can offer my
clients.

I am also very glad that things are working out.

Thanks,
Robin

I have exactly the same problem and would be very interested to know if anyone has found a solution to this.

This looks like an excellent control but I cannot deploy it unless I can get rid of the licencing messages.
