License key

Hi,

Not sure if this is the proper place, if not hopefully someone will direct
me to the right on. We have some Dell Computers that came with Office 2003
Pro installed on them. The software CD set for Office 2003 only comes with
the product ID not the Product Key. It states that one must obtain the
volume license Product Key. My question is, is it the volume license Key
for Dell or do we need to have Dell issuse us the Key or contact MS with our
product info to have them issue us the Key? We do have volume license keys,
but they are for other CD sets of Office 2003 and Office XP. Those volume
license Keys are not for the pre-installed Office 2003 though. Thank you.

Contact Dell for assistance since the software was preinstalled.

Hi Paul,

That is one of the things we are doing, just with contacting them is almost
is like contacting Microsoft. Always get press 1 for English, 2 ......,
then after about 10 to 15 minutes of pressing buttons, you get either please
hold for a representative (then all lines are busy please call back) or
disconnected. Also sent faxes to them, but don`t know which century we`ll
get the replies in.
