License Re-use

O

My son purchased Office XP for his college computer a few years ago.
Recently, during a lightning storm, his Power Converter and CPU were fried.

He wants to re-use that software on a new PC that he purchases, but can't
deactivate the old copy since the PC no longer works.

What does he have to do to re-use the software. It was purchased as a
separate package and did not come with the computer.

Thanks for the help

Just install it and use it. There is no such thing as deactivating.
