Hi,

which model of license do you reccomend for a dot template? The template
will be free, but I didn't decide about the source code opening yet.
What do you reccomend?

Best regards

What do you mean by that? The source code is always free in any DOC/DOT.

Hi, Karl,

what do YOU mean by that! Is the source code available even if I protect
it with a password?

Best regards.

Yes. The password provides minimal protection, and no security.

Thanks Tony,

that's very surprising for me. So I can study the code of the templates
I bought? That's great! I will look for information about that, and, of
course, this eliminates my doubts about licensing. I will license the
template as GPL.

Unfortunately, yes. Not directly, but rather trivially. The password is just
another way of Microsoft offering their customers very shallow, and utterly
meaningless, assurances of respect.
