I purchased two new computers. A desktop for home to use for work, and a
laptop for work when I go out in the field, both running under vista. I
purchased one copy of Office 2007 small business. Can I use this for both
computers?

Bad answer and top posted to boot. Put the CD in the optical drive and
read it there BEFORE installing it.

The short answer is that you should install it on both machines and try to
activate it online. If it activates then it is alright for you to use on
both machines. If it doesn't then pick up the phone and ring the CEO of
Microsoft and tell him whatever you want, including inventing a story so
that they can activate it for you.

It is as simple as that!

Hope this helps.

Pray tell, where might one find the file on the CD and give it's name? I
happen to have just looked for the EULA on the entire 2 disk set that came
with my copy of SBE and failed to find the EULA. It is apparently a
compressed file in one of the .cab files with an unusual name (nothing EULA
or even the name of the file that prints when you print the EULA from within
one of the Office applications.) A simple search won't find it. Since you
don't like DL's answer why don't you help the OP and provide the information
as to where to find the file is located and it's name so the OP may read it.

Start the install with the CD. You will be asked to agree to the EULA
before you can install the program. Read it. If you don't agree, the
install will abort.
