Can someone direct me to the correct licensing documentation. I have been
requested to purchase a couple MS Project Prof licenses. I went to my
software vendor and recieved a quote for volume licensing for Prof, and
server. Meanwhile someone in my marketing department when googling for
prices and came up with oem license prices. So Volume with sa ~$1300,
Retail $675, and OEM $260. My understanding was that OEM was supposed to
be installed by the original manufacturer and should come installed on a PC
and not sold seperately. Please someone confirm this for me. I would much
rather stay with my Volume license with SA model, but am having trouble
arguing against the $260 price.
If OEM licenses are supposed to be sold with a pc, how does WestGate Media
and others get away with selling OEM separately? Please enlighten me.
