I bought Office XP's academic version last year. What are
the licensing restrictions? Can I install and activate it
on more than one computer?

Do you mean 'Academic' or 'Students and Teachers' - there's a world of
difference.

The Academic licence has the same restrictions as the retail: - one desktop
and one laptop providing that:

a) They are both for the exclusive use of the licensee (i.e. you)

and

b) They aren't in simultaneous use

If STE, then it's one licence *PER SYSTEM* (and before anyone corrects me
and says it can be installed on three systems, that was only introduced for
version 2003).
