I am trying to stay legal!
I have just upgraded to Win 7 (clean install) and am reinstalling Office 2003.
To complicate matters, the full version of Office (pro) 2003 I have has a
HUP license which I am no longer entitled to use. I have an upgrade version
of Office (Small Business) 2003 which was installed on a machine I no longer
have and which came with Office XP pre-installed (no disks). Effectively,
what I want to do is transfer the Small Business licensed software onto my
Windows 7 machine... but the small business installer will not let me install
over Professional because it is looking for earlier versions of office (not
2003) to trigger the upgrade install.
How do I keep myself legal, without having to upgrade to Office 2007?
Thanks
Alison
