"Like" vs "Not Like"

All,

I have on qry that has the criteria

"Like "*ABC*" Or Like "*NORTH*" Or Like "*STOR*" Or Like "*CBA*" Or Like
"*HOME*"

and it works just fine.

However, when i try to do the opposite of this, and show all records without
that info, i tried

"Not Like "*ABC*" Or Not Like "*NORTH*" Or Not Like "*STOR*" Or Not Like
"*CBA*" Or Not Like "*HOME*"

and it hates it! Just will not work. What am i doing wrong? Is there a way
around this?

Hope someone can help.

Hi,

De Morgan's law: the negation of

( a like b ) OR ( a like c )

is

( not a like b) AND ( not a like c )

Hoping it may help,
