Limit Access to Current Project Workspace

We have been trying to figure out how to limit who can go to a current
project workspace. It seems that everyone, by default/design, can get to the
project workspace. You can limit every single documents/risks/issues item
within the program and anyone with access to the PP can get to the shared
workspace. We have cases where we don't want certain users (do have NO access
to documents) to be able to access the workspace. Anyone have thoughts?

This is actually a SharePoint server question, as the workspaces are
administered there.

In the SharePoint workspace, if you go to Site Settings...Manage Users you
can determine who can access each project's workspace and also what rights
they have when accessing the site.

Hope this helps.

We have the permissions set on the SharePoint site and it is lilke the link
in the Project Server doesn't recognize the permissions. Thus the problem. It
takes the restricted user to the workspace, regardless of setting in the SPS
settings.

Within Project Web, you can take every single option off of a web page in
the administrative site settings, EXCEPT the 'Go to current project
workspace' link. It appears SPS and Project Web do not communicate using this
link. If the restricted users trys to access using the Documents Link in the
top menu bar, then they can't get there. It is all related to the 'Go to
current project workspace' link.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Sheila
