Hi
I'm using ALT+0010 as a delimiter in the text to column wizard to split multi-line entries in cells in column B. My column B has 52,000 rows and each cell in column B has 2 or 3 lines of entries (one name per line), with the occasional cell of up to 14 lines per cell. Splitting about 200 rows at a time using the text to column wizard works well, but for anything more than 200 rows Excel asks me if I want to overwrite the values in the columns. I inserted enough empty columns to the right of column B to accommodate the individual split items (16 add. columns to accommodate even the outlier of 14 lines per cell), so there should be no reason why any columns beyond column M (the last of the 16 buffer columns) should be overwritten. Why might this be happening? Does Excel 2002 have size
limitations with regards to how many rows at a time can be split using ALT+0010 as a delimiter
Please help. Thanks!
