Hi,
I have 2 division for which i am implementing Project server.
It is very difficult to segregate projects and resources for PM, Executives
and RM of both the division. Any simple way

More over when i create a portfolio analyzer view i get to see all the
projects there even for the project i dont have any permission to view.
If i apply filter then also the person can revert back to all the project.
How to limit projects and resources in the portfolio analyzer

Create an Enterprize Project Outline Code "Project Type" and define the
types you have in your company. For Resource you can use RBS or any
Custom outline Code like "Resource Group" .

To control filtering on Project Web Access - PA View Customzie page go
to "commands and options" dialog goto "protection" tab and uncheck the
"filters" options. This means that that the user will only see the
fixed project. Although this is not a good solution but can work.

Hope this helps

I think Jerry's solution will work for the Portfolio Analyzer issue.
You can also lool at the local permissions is the Analysis Server.
This worked well for a similar set of requirements. The problem with
Portfolio Analyzer is that once someone has access, they have access to
everything. So we prefiltered the data prior to it going into the
cubes and then controlled access to the cubes using the local
permissions.

For your first question - I just did this and it worked well: You will
need to set up Categories and Groups for each of the two parts of the
organization. An Outline code will indicate who can see what. You
will also need to set up three versions of every view you want. Org 1,
Org 2 and All (for the executives). After that, it's a simple matter
of setting filters in the views.
