Limit Read Receipt

Is it possible to send an email requesting read receipts, but limit who gets them? For instance, if I only want to get receipts for those in the "To:" line and not those cc'd, is there anyway to limit read receipts without sending multiple emails (which is typically not an option)?.

There is no way to specify receipt requests for some recipients but not for
others within the same message.

Just ONE e-mail gets sent for ALL recipients. Whatever you have in the
e-mail gets sent to all of them, including the headers added by your
e-mail client (which includes the delivery request headers).

You will have to compose one e-mail to those to whom you do not want to
send a read receipt. Then open the e-mail in your Sent Items folder and
select to Resend it but change the recipient list and add the read
receipt request.

Since users often disable tracking options (read receipts), you will
find requesting a read receipt results in getting few or none of them.
If you want recipients to send you a notification that they got your
e-mail, ask them to respond that they got it.

Yep, another forum wanting to pretend they have a larger community by
usurping Usenet but using the crappy FUDforum gateway software that
sucks because it cannot figure out how to wrap lines in the copy that it
sends to the Usenet group.
