Limit to amount of PSTs loaded?

Is there a limit to the amount of PSTs you can have loaded at any one time?
My boss just tried to add a new PST and we received an Out of Memory or
Resources error. We removed two of her older PST folders and it allowed us
to add a the new one.

I have researched this and couldn't find any documentation on limits.

Using Outlook 2007/Windows XP
