I am managing a number of machines that have very large inboxes (10+ GB's
each). We recently changed from Office 2003 to 2007 and setup everyone to
use instant search. All of the mailboxes are setup to use Cached Exchange
mode. The problem that I am encountering is that it seems that there is a
limit to the number of emails that Instant Search can go through when using a
Cached Exchange mode. Whe performing a search, it will show a list of emails
with what you search for, but only up to a certain date. For example, I
could search through all emails for the past 5 years and results would come
up for the first 4 1/2, but not the last 6 months even though I know there
are emails that should be coming up. I turned cached mode off as a test, and
I was able to find all emails over the past 5 years. Any ideas?
