The limit from OWC should be based only on memory consumption. However,
Excel itself does impose a hard limit which is different for, say, VSTO
which is around 400 (off the top of my head). I'm pretty sure this limit is
different with the raw COM approach as well. Your safest bet is to test this
on a variety of environments with varying resource utilization. I wouldn't
fall for the 400 figure.
