Limitation of size or number of procedures in dot-file ?

Hi NG

I'm using XP/Word 2003 and working on a project, in which a dot-file
is growing up to 3.6 mb now. After inspection of former subs, it
seems, that some changes are not made.
My question is, is there a limitation in size or numbers of procedures
in a dot-file ?

best greets

I would worry about a file that is mostly code and has gotten above 1Mb.
Take a look at this article

Hi Hubert,

in theory, I'd say for the size it is 32 MB.
But that is not your problem.

IMHO, there is an unknown border of complexity
for a Word document and for templates.
But that is theory, too.

I'd try to export the code.
Setup a new, clean dot
and import the code.
