Limitation to the number of fields

Is there a way around having more than 255 fields (the limit) in a
table/query?

Not that I know of.

If you can describe what you are trying to do, someone may be able to come up
with an alternative solution to needing 255 fields. I can say that I've yet to
run into a situation where I really needed that many fields. As a guess, your
table structure should be examined.

Thank you for your response. My database is normalized, and I really do
need to display >255 fields in my reports.

Each report requires the fields from 3 tables, each with about 100 fields.
The report should show a big table containing all fields from those 3
tables. What I may end up doing is creating a subreport for each table and
somehow putting them close together in the report so that they look like 1
big table. May look tacky, but that's the only option I have now.
