limited fonts

I'm using office XP. When in Word and click on fonts, there are only 3 Device
fonts listed. When I look in control panel, fonts, there are 20 or 30 listed.
I have removed and reinstalled office xp with no change. How do I get use of
the extra fonts

Set a default printer that supports TrueType. See

Thanks for the help , changed default printer, all fonts now avalaible
