Hello,
In an effort to curb rogue development in our organization
we are trying to limit access to development tools such as
MS Access to all of our employees. The problem is that we
can't just not install MS Access on their machines as they
need to be able to use some databases that are curently in
existance. Our goal is to reduce the amount of untrained
people developing "solutions" when they in fact should be
developed by more trained personel.
I was wondering if there is some version of MS Access or
some way of installing MS Access that prohibits development
but still allows users to use existing databases. Basically
a version without developer permissions. I did a search on
various groups didn't come up with much. Anyone have any
ideas? Also if I'm positng this in the wrong forum please
let me know and I'll move it to the appropriate one. TIA.
