Limited positions on Access 2000

How can i have more than 1.000 position on a table in
Access 2000?

When i try to import a text with more than 1.000 positions
the program limited the import spec to 1.000.

I by "position" you mean Fields in a table then ... no, you cannot. A
Table is limited to 255 fields. You will need to either link this
table multiple times, each time getting a portion of the fields; or
(better) write VBA code to read the file and update a properly
normalized table structure.
