Limited view on all day appointments

when multiple all day events are entered against one day
the view only extends to half the viewable area. There
doesn't seem to be any scroll bar that allows you to view
items below this half way mark...

OWA does have a scroll bar and displays all of the all
day events. Does anyone have any ideas on how to extend
the viewable area for calendar items in Outlook?
