Limiting Repeating Section to a certain number of rows

I have a repeating section that I'd like to ensure only contains a maximum
of 3 rows. Nothing in the rules or validation tabs covers it. Is this
possible?

As Infopath is able to build a form with XML schema, perhaps you could use
this way ?
