Limiting Table Size in Forms

I have set up forms in Word 2003 and have limited the number of characters
the user can input into each cell of the table. However, it appears the user
can enter as many carriage returns as they wish, expanding the size of the
table. This pushed the form to more than one page, which cannot happen. Is
there a way to limit the size of the cell. Actually, each table the user
enters into is one cell having just one row and one column.

Thanks

Hi Lollygagger,

If you set the table row height to an 'exact' size, then anything that doesn't fit simply won't show, instead of expanding the
table.

That worked. Guess it was too obvious. Thanks for your help.
