Limiting text included in replies.

I have many emails which contain a series of replies to the original email. I need to print those emails. After the first several replies, this can become lenghty. Is there a way that I can automatically limit the included text in a reply to only the email I am responding to. For example my reply now contains, email 1, response to email 1, email 2, response to email 2. When I respond to email 2, the text of all prior emails is included. I would like my response to email 2 to only include the text of email 2.

you can do this manually by selecting the text you'd like to include prior
to hitting the Reply button.

Michel has given you the only good answer. Entourage has no idea what
you want to include or don't want to include unless you tell it. The
only way you can tell it is by highlighting text.
