Limiting worksheet extent

I can't figure out how to set the extent displayed for a worksheet.
Looking at the gallery, Home Essentials, Home Budget, for example, you
only see 1a:76h displayed. I can't figure out how to hide the
remaining extent of a new spreadsheet to match this example. It must
be simple, but I can't figure it out. This is Office 2004 on Mac OS
10.4.3.

Sorry, Never mind. I did a search and found it in the archives. Have
to enter the column range in the Name Box, and then select
format:column:hide. I am such a rookie at excel I didn't know how to
select ranges manually.
