I want to write a macro that will make a line chart out of the trends w
pull from our SCADA system at work. I want this macro to be able t
work on any trend I pull. In another words, I want it to be able t
chart 1, 2, 3, or any amount of columns past column C with varyin
amount of rows. The rows will depend on the amount of data points in m
trend.
C1 is a blank cell and the rest of the C column will be time and dat
of the data points in the other columns to the right. Data in column
will be the x category axis in all of the charts.
I tried to record a macro with the recorder to see what the code woul
look like. The problem with this is that the finished macro will onl
work with the file I used to record it with. It defines the absoulut
range of the data in the file.
How can I change this range reference to pick all of the data and row
right and below cell C1? Regardless of the amount of data that is i
the file. Of course I do not want it to define a range over empt
cells.
Are there any programers out there that want to give me a clue
