Line/Font Spacing

Ok, I'm having the same problem as lar01 from June 2008. My fonts all want to add extra spacing when enlarged past a certain point. For example, Calibri at 11 appears with all the lines of text together. But expand the font to size 12 (up to 21) and it will add in extra spacing. That extra space disappears at size 22. It seems to be different with every font. Some fonts add the extra line spacing at 12, others at 13 or 14. But it's every font, for the most part. I've tried some of the advice you gave to lar01, but maybe you can walk me through some of the more advanced steps. I've deleted my normal.dotm to no avail. It's driving me crazy.

Sorry, but most of us use newsreaders so inactive threads over 90 days old
aren't readily available. Since you don't quote any of the content we have
no idea what "problem" or "advice" you're referring to.

Additionally, there have been several updates to both Office & OS X during
the elapsed time and several similar issues have been addressed by those
updates. So even though your symptoms may be similar the cause may be
entirely different. Confirm that you have Office completely updated
(12.1.2), do the same for Tiger (10.4.11), & that you've repaired disk
permissions [repairing permissions won't "fix" anything but it can't hurt
either ].

Reply with specifics once you've done so & include what "some of the advice"
you've followed. Where to go next depends on where you are now.
