Line Jump not working

Visio 2003


Need help in figuring out why I can not get line jumps on a newly
routed line. I inherited this file to review - therefore I do not know
it history.

I did check File > Page Setup to see if the page has any line jump
settings. [Settings = Line Jumps to last routed line; Arc]

Then I checked Format > Behavior for shape-specific settings [Settings
= "As page specifies" (also tried "Always"); Arc]

All that said, I can not get the system to jump at line crossings.

Any help/thoughts accepted.
