line jumps not working

I'm using Visio for Enterprise Architects SP-2. I have several instances
where 2 dynamic connectors cross but Visio isn't adding line jumps as per my
settings under Page Setup. I've even tried selecting and setting the
individual connector properties to get line jumps, but no luck. What could
be causing this & what can I do to correct it ?
