Line Spacing in a list is double spaced

I created a list and when I generate it in a report, it's always double
spaced. I click on properties and drop down to line spacing and it's
already set to zero. How do I make the line spacing single spaced? Any
help is appreciated.

There is probably too much space around your text box
controls in design view of the report. If this is the case,
snug your controls right up to the detail bar above them and
then bring the footer bar below them right up to the bottom
of them.
