How do I do the following: I have a list of items that are bulleted and I
want a 2 line space between the bullets BUT only a single line space when
lines wrap?

When I set it to 2 line spacing it give me 2 lines even when the lines wraps
and when I press return to get a new bullet. I only want the 2 lines when I
press return.

First, I hope the list of bulleted items was formatted with a style,
such as List Bullet, instead of just hitting the Bullet button on the
toolbar. If not, I strongly recommend you do that first.

Modify the style used for the list. In the Paragraph dialog, leave the
Line Spacing at Single. Set the Space After box to 12 pt. (Actually,
you can type 1 line in the box, and Word will convert it to the
proper number of points.)

If you stubbornly resist <g> using styles, select the paragraphs of
the list, go to Format > Paragraph, and set the Space After. However,
you'd then have to do the same thing over again for each new list you
create. With styles, do it once and you're done; also, you don't have
to worry about missing one paragraph.

I'm guessing you mean single space within the bullet (not a blank
line between wrappped lines).

Format >> Paragraph
Set Spacing Before and Line Spacing to the same value, such as 12pt
if you want to have 10 on 12 text. Then the baselines are 12 points
apart within a bullet, but 24 points (12+12) between bullets.

Line Spacing is the spacing within a paragraph or bullet. Spacing
Before is the _extra_ space added before a paragraph or bullet.
