Linear Programming and Solver

How do I create at least a three variable linear
programming problem on an Excel spreadsheet with several
constraints? Could a template be set up for this, or a
chart to describe the problem? Without a third party
program.

Is this a school homework problem?

If not, you might want to check in one of the Excel newsgroups where those
folks tend to hang out.

Excel will not create a linear programming problem - it will solve it is
most cases
