lines across photos when rotated

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

After rotating a photo, there are horizontal lines running across it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? I know on a PC this did not happen.

Thank you for reporting this information. I'm not seeing this reproduce
in PowerPoint 2004 on my Intel Leopard Mac, can you please provide more
detailed/specific reproduction steps? What picture type(s) are you using
(like .pdf, .png, .jpg)? Does it matter what picture size it is or the
zoom? Do you see the lines at any rotation?
