Lines I can't get rid of

There is a page break above #10 Ways to Convey or to Acquire Title. I
worked on this for over an hour and can't get rid of these 2 stupid lines.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I can't physically see on my screen what the problem is but I'm guessing
that you've got a line (which is merely formatted to be two lines) which is,
in effect, the edge of a box. Go to Format/Borders & Shading and get rid of
it from there. I find that Word, if you draw a line with multiple hyphens,
turns it into a box border when you press Enter. The best thing when this
happens is to Undo one place before you go any further else you've got that
poxy border to get rid of.
