I had posted this problem a few times over the last year. The lines
where I used large font sized were mashed together. It looked
horrible and the problem was evident in many of the thousadns of web
pages on my site.
I was converting a lot of Word files to Frontpage, so many people,
including myself - suspected this. But that was not the problem.
The problem was that the paragraph settings, under line spacing - say:
"line-height: 100%;"
That was the entire friggin problem !!! Took a year to figure it out,
and it was right there in front of my face. I assumed that setting
line height to 100% was fine . . . I mean, why not?
But must be a bug in FP2000, and causes the line height to exceed 100%
for larger font sizes.
I do not know where this setting came from, because I just tried to
recreate it with a new blank page. I selected some text and went to
Format/Paragrapgh . . . and under the drop-down box for line
spacing, there are 3 options but there is no option for "line-height:
100%;"
