Lines & rectangles in Access reports

Dennis

I have an Access (2002) report that has horizontal lines on it, as well as
some frames (rectangles) which group certain areas on the report. When this
report is exported to an RTF document, those lines and rectangles vanish.
Additionally, some of the text in the right set of columns, when it
word-wraps, wraps to the LEFT column on the report, rather then lining up
properly within its own area.

Any ideas about how I can correct this stuff?

Thanks!

Dennis,
From what I've read in other posts, RTF format doesn't support graphic based objects,
such a boxes and lines... direclty from Access.
You might try using | and _ characters to simulate lines, but I would imagine that
might not produce too professional a look.

A better suggestion to try for non-editable RTF
Stephen Leban's has... (A97 & 2K is what's listed)
http://www.lebans.com/ReportUtilities.htm
I haven't used it, but it allows for outputting reports in 5 popular formats, like Word,
RTF/WordPad, etc...
Check that out.

I've used Snapshot in the past with good success, and then there's always Adobe PDF to
consider.
