Sorry for the confusion; posting is not working correctly. I can't write
the last letter in the alphabet or the newsgroup quits (weird!). The
problem: A hori ontal line appears before and after line numbering in
the new version of word for office. I can't get rid of them without also
getting rid of the numbering. Thanks!
