LinEst embedded in VBA Function

I am performing an iterative regression and am wrapping
the worksheet function LinEst in my own VBA function. I
want to pass LinEst a single column array of doubles for
the Yvalues and a two column Array of doubles for the
Xvalues. It works fine for a single column of Xvalues but
returns VALUE error when passed the two column array.
What are my work arounds? I would pass it range arguments
but I need to perform arithmatic on the Xvalues before the
regression.

Basically, the x values have to be a single 2D array.
