Hello everyone,
How should I link an Access databaes to a SQL 2000 server? Clicking Tables
of a linked Access database (Office Access 2003 11.6355.6360) under Linked
Servers in SQL Server Enterprise Manager returns the error:
Error 7399: OLE DB provider 'Microsoft. Jet.OLEDB.4.0' reported an error.
OLE DB error trace (OLE/DB provider 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0'
IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: ].
I've asked the question in the SQL Server Server discussion group. But so
far I've heard nothing back. Usually people in that group respond pretty
fast if they know an answer. I've also google'd and read Microsoft knowledge
base articles but my problem still persists.
Anybody here have any such experience and would like to share your
successful stories? That would be greatly appreciated!
