Link an Access Table to External database

Newbie2Access

Newbie here, I am trying to map the process to link an Access table to an
external AS400 database? I also need to know what drivers will be needed and
where I can find them (ODBC?). I may just need to know the right questions to
ask the IT dept but I'm not sure. Any advice and/or recomendations for
further info are greatluy appreciated. Thanks
