When I try to create a link from a slide to open another application, it won't let me choose it (it is greyed out). It doesn't seem to matter whether this is Word, or whatever. Can I get another application to launch directly when presenting the show? Other hyperlinks work fine.

Hi Brian -

You can't hyperlink to applications (programs). If you hyperlink to a *file*
the supporting application will launch when the hyperlink is clicked & the
file will open in that application.

Thanks for the info Bob

I have found that if I have the application open in a window behind the PowerPoint, I can press Command/Tab and scroll between the two applications at the appropriate time. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing. Thanks again for your help.
