link bar feature not available in this web

Hello everyone,

Everytime I try to modify my default.aspx with Frontpage, I have the
message "link bar feature not available in this web" in place of where
the link bar should actually be.

I can't find an answer to this problem anywhere. I have tried both
Frontpage 2002 and 2003, nothing, tried uninstalling and reinstalling,
again nothing. I have searched Google, Microsoft, and Newsgroups to the

point where I am about ready to puke. Again nothing useful.

I have Windows Sharepoint Services SP1 installed, Windows 2003 Server.
What is something that can be cause link bars not to work in Frontpage?

Someone out there has got to know this.

Nevermind,

Just unistalled everything down to and including IIS, now everything
*appears* like it is going to be working correctly.
