Link Bar Theme doesn't show when site published to web

I've seen this question before, but no solution, so I'm going to try again. I
wrote a site using FP 2003, in Windows XP Home. Theme is BlueCalm. Everything
looks fine in FP. When site is published, the links appear as underlined
text. When I open the remote site in FP, it looks right. Only in Explorer or
Mozilla do the link bars not show, which means anyone other than me viewing
the site isn't going to see the link bars correctly. I noticed that the home
page shows a size of 5927B in FP view, and the remote site home page shows a
size of 5516B, which tells me something ain't making it from my computer to
the remote host. Host is HostExcellence, with FP extensions. Site is
http://www.bobwhitmire.com. I've tried resetting the link bar with the remote
site open in FP. I've tried recalculating hyperlinks. I've tried everything I
can think of. Sure would like to see a solution here. Thanx! --Bob

Have you open the live site directly in FP and run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks?

Yep. Did that. Tried everything I've seen in previous posts on this subject,
but nothing worked.

I had the same problem. Ultimately, I think I had to delete the site off the
remote server, and then publish the entire site to it again. I think maybe
the problem occurred because I wasn't using the "publish site" option
originally, but just pushing individual files to the web which, I assume,
wasn't pushing the hidden folders' content with it.

Anywho, either deleting the entire remote site and republishing did the
trick for me, or I deleted the entire site, then deleted and rebuilt the
linkbar on the local copy, then republished the entire thing to the web.

Worked for me, anyway.

When you publish individual pages, nothing but the actual page is published.

Lol. Yeah, I know that now. My point was that somehow when I was publishing
pages and it didn't work, then I tried to publish the entire site and it
didn't work. But after I deleted the entire site and then republished the
whole thing again, I think it worked (see above post...one other possibility
I mentioned).

I post that more for others, that might be doing the same thing and not realize what happen (or
doesn't happen) when they publish individual files.

Thanx for all the info, but so far nothing has worked. I've tried deleting
the site off the remote server, resetting front page extensions, and
republishing the entire site and I still get the same result.
