Link bar update not getting to server

Hi,

I have a problem with FP 2003 and would be most grateful if anyone out there
knows the solution and could tell me.

I bought a template for a site which uses FrontPage Navigation and link
bars. The link bars show OK when uploaded to the server but changes I make
to them don't get up to the server. I have tried copying and pasting a link
bar onto another section of a page, shows fine in preview and design view,
does not show when I upload the page. I am only uploading the individual
pages as there are databases etc that have changed on the live site and I
don't want to overwrite. Do I need to publish some other file they depend
on?

Andrew,

check to see where the link bar is pointing when it looks for the image
representation of the link bar. One problem that people run into is the
fact that templates can seem easy if you have a standard website, but if
you start to have different folders than what the creator intended you
to have, it can cause problems. If you don't see the image of the link
bar, it is a big clue that the server can't find the image.
