link bars not working. my server runs FP extentions. help?

I have just learned about Dynamic Web Templates within Frontpage. I created
my first one, but the link bars are not working (not appearing on the page)
when I publish. According to the online class about link bars, my server has
to either run frontpage extentions "or" run sharepoint. The link bars should
work since my server runs Frontpage extentions. It doesn't. Anyone know why?

marquee works. hitcounters have stopped working (they worked in the past) msn
sports web component works. link bars still don't work. So some of the web
compnents work, others don't. any help would be greatly appreciated. my
server's only answer is to stop using frontpage.

It sounds like the FrontPage Server Extensions are corrupted. If you have
access to the hosts control panel, uninstall the FrontPage Server Extensions
and reinstall. Otherwise contact your hosting company and ask them to do it.

I did that (as a matter of fact i had thm do it at the server end). It still
doesn't work. I'm about ready to take their suggestion and learn a new
website development tool and dump frontpage. any other suggestions?
