link between access and outlook express

I support a system in which a user has an Excel spreadsheet that has various e-mail addresses. When he clicks on the e-mail address, it automatically brings up Outlook Express and puts the e-mail address in the send field and all he has to do is type in his message and it is sent to that e-mail address. My question is can a field in Access perform that same function and How ?
