I have a strange phenomenon in an access database that I don't quite
understand. The background is that the employee is filling out in an Infopath
form what kind of tasks he/she has been working on and sends this to an
Access database for follow-up by various managers through reports.
One of the fields is the employee ID number and another field is the amount
of time in minutes that is spent on a specific task. Some times (say 1% of
the times or perhaps even less) the employee field is updated with the amount
of minutes instead of the employee ID number. The amount of time is also
reported in the 'time spent field'... But to clarify, in almost all cases
except a few exceptions the employee ID field is updated with the employee ID
number but sometimes the amount of time is registered in that field instead.
Does anyone have any kind of idea how and why this is happening? Would you
know if you had more information and what kind of information is necessary in
that case?
