link bookmark (field) to Excel cell?

We are trying to link bookmarks to specific Excel sheet
cells. Bookmarks have been defined with names Eg: D3, 15,
etc. We would like text in bookmarks to update with text
in specific Excel cells as the Excel file is the master
lexicon file. (Word doc is for storyboards.)

Would appreciate step by step instruction.

Hi Warren,

Well... have you tried copying the Excel cell and pasting it
into Word with a link (Edit/Paste Special)? That would
certainly be the most straightforward approach, although if
you have lots and lots and lots of links your document could
get a bit "loggy".
