Link browser is slo & Locate Link Browser opens when I hit a link

Recently, the time to open a link has increased drastically. Also, everytime
I hit a link, the window "Locate Link Browser" appears and stays open for a
long time. Do I have a faulty driver?

Thanks for responding. I followed your instructions until the middle of
step 5. In the Application used to perform action box, you said to locate
Internet explorer (Iexplore.exe) and click open. I use Mozilla Firefox and I
don't know how to find Iexplore.exe or whether it will apply if I am using
Firefox. I am stuck here.
